Today was a Purim celebration in the Central Reform Congregation (http://www.centralreform.org/). According to my opinion, the congregation manages very well to mix tradition with modernity and spirit.
This evening they presented the history of Purim in form of a singing competition, which was presented, by their disguised rabbis, a popular comedian and musical members of the congregation. Even though, I was not prepared on singing, I got the chance to sing Tumbalalaika.
It was a really funny evening, which ended with a lot of good food.
